When we had our first child, I knew I wanted to be a stay-at-home parent even though it would be tough to lose the income from my job. I started learning everything I could about budgeting, saving money and taking control of our family's finances. Five years on, we now have two kids and the time I spent learning about personal finance has really paid off for our family. We are financially thriving, enjoy an annual holiday and even have savings accounts for our children, which I wouldn't have thought was possible on one income. I started this blog to share what I've learned over the years and encourage other families who want to make the switch to one income. I hope you enjoy my blog and find it useful.
